NEW YORK POST, Page Six -- Gossip -- September 21, 2008

Tourists Luck -- DIANA Taylor is a tourist attraction. Jim Dykes, who runs Rich and Famous Tours, was leading a group of out-of-towners down East 79th Street when the door of Mayor Bloomberg's elegant 1910 townhouse flew open - and out bolted the state banking superintendent in blue jeans, sneakers and tank top, headed to Central Park with two Labrador retrievers. The pooches pulled Taylor over to the group for a moment, and the tourists eagerly petted the tail-waggers. When Taylor moved on, Dykes announced, "You just met your first New York celebrity . . . that was a casually dressed Diana Taylor, our billionaire mayor's longtime girlfriend . . . and her dogs." NEW YORK POST -- Liz Smith's syndicated column -- June 20, 1999

Jim Dykes gave his group a bit more than the usual "and here's where so-and-so lives/lived/died/partied, etc." last Sunday. While Dykes and his passel of sightseers were going through exclusive Beekman Place, a bearded man in bright orange jogging pants and a baseball cap interrupted the guides' chat--saying "Aren't you going to tell them that Steven Spielberg lives here?" He pointed to one of the townhouses. It took only a few moments for the crowd to realize that the bearded man was Spielberg himself, obviously happy with the knowledge that even as he stood there on the streets of New York, his latest film was amassing a staggering $50 million weekend take!

NEW YORK POST, Page Six -- Gossip -- Jan. 15, 2003

Julia Roberts and hubby Danny Moder were spotted exiting the Chelsea Clearview Cinemas hand-in-hand, giving a thrill to a group of people on a walking tour led by veteran guide Jim Dykes.
