BUS TOURS

How long is the tour?

A breezy 3 hours

How much is the tour?

$49 for adults
$39 for children under 13
(plus a $2 fee per ticket for processing)

Where does the tour begin?

Convenient Times Square location (actual location given upon purchase of ticket)

How will we travel around town?

By luxury, air-conditioned motorcoach

Is there a bathroom on the coach?

Yes.

Will there be any stops on the bus tour?

Usually at least two, depending on traffic.

Is it appropriate or expected to tip the guide and driver?

It is absolutely appropriate!

Is this a full-day New York City tour?

No. Rich & Famous Tours is a specialized tour (3 hours at most) through the most glamorous and historic parts of midtown and uptown Manhattan.

Will we see Ground Zero or the Statue of Liberty?

Not on this tour. This is an in-depth tour through the “heart” of Manhattan’s midtown & uptown areas.

What are some of the areas and landmarks we will see on the Rich & Famous bus tour?

Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Madison Ave., Fifth Avenue, Millionaire’s Mile, Museum Mile, Upper East and West sides, Park Ave., Central Park, Lincoln Center, Juilliard School, New York's Mormon Temple, NBC Studios, ABC Studios, CBS Studios, MTV, The Dakota, Strawberry Fields, Central Park West, Harlem’s Morningside Heights district, Columbia University, dozens of Celebrity residence buildings, the Seinfeld “diner”, Museum of Natural History, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Grant’s Tomb, Riverside Drive, Columbus Circle, and much more.

Will we see a celebrity?

Quite possibly! There are NO guarantees but on many tours we have spotted celebrities such as Tom Hanks, Bette Midler, Jay Z, Melanie Griffith, Conan O’Brien, Julia Roberts, Steven Spielberg (he chatted with us!), Bill Cosby, Joan Rivers, Uma Thurman, Ashley Judd, Renee Zellweger, Mary Tyler Moore, Sean Combs, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jerry Seinfeld, and many more!

May we approach the celebrities or speak to them?

Not unless the celebrity speaks to us first. New Yorkers respect everyone's right to privacy. But we will let you know when and where celebrities are happy to give autographs every day.

How does the $20 cash prize work?

The first person on the Rich & Famous BUS tour to spot a celebrity receives $20 cash, at discretion of guide. The guides decision is final. There is no cash prize on the walking tour.

WALKING TOURS

How much are the walking tours?

$25 each (plus a $2 fee per ticket for processing)

Do the tours operate rain or shine?

Yes, but not in extremely inclement weather (extreme cold or snow).

How far will we walk on the walking tour?

Approximately 1-2 miles on each walking tour.

Are pictures allowed on the tours?

Yes, while still remembering to respect celebrities' privacy.

How can I get tickets to see David Letterman or Regis & Kelly?

We'll give you detailed information and numbers to call to be in the live studio audience for these and other TV shows.

Tour must have a minimum number of passengers to operate as scheduled or refunds will occur. Otherwise, tickets are non-refundable; bus seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times on tour. Prices are subject to change without notice. Tickets are non-refundable. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Tour is for informational purposes only. Purchasing a ticket is tour participant’s agreement to not approach the celebrities on the tour or after the tour is concluded.
